After spending most of the summer in the pleasant but enervating land of Hiatus, the well-read and thoughtful A. is back with two new entries at Waggish, one of them on my favorite forgotten (outside of Wales) poet, David Jones. This information comes via the indispensable wood s lot (in the uppermost, ie most recent, of the two entries labeled 09.07.2003, which I suspect should be labeled 09.08.2003), where you will find a cornucopia of Jones-related links.

Thinking of Welsh poetry, Edline had an interesting discussion yesterday about being able to distinguish a writer’s accent based upon the word choices/syntax used when writing.
