Frequent commenter Y sent me a link to Glottle saying “Probably something after your heart,” and boy was he right. The goal is to guess the mystery language; for each guess you are told how close your guessed language is to the target language genealogically (Freezing Cold, Cool, Warm, Hot, Boiling). You can play at various levels of difficulty; here are my results (number of guesses I needed/total number allowed):
Easy 10/15
Medium 18/30
Hard 9/50
Expert 10/75
Don’t do what I did at first and ignore the geographical information (they tell you in small print how many km/miles away the mystery language is, which helps a lot). Good luck, and thanks, Y!
